    I've read a few articles similar like the one you posted that there is testing for potential vaccines recently. This is all good news!! It seems like we are some what closer to having a vaccine compared to a few years ago. I think many of us emets would be relieved if something came out in the market.

    They have some already, though Typhoid vax is not that great, though does have the ability to lessen any effects the sickness would have if caught. Thankfully it's rare to get anyone with proper cleaning and being safe about foods in developing or undeveloped countries. Hep A already exists too.

    Seems these vaccines are working to target Shigella and E-Coli. Are they targeting the two deadly strains or just one though? 0121 and 0157: H7 are the types of E-Coli that are most known to cause food poisoning. Still, great news to hear.
