Will I catch the stomach flu from my boyfriend?

My boyfriend caught the stomach flu Monday the twelfth and he started feeling better Thursday and he wants to come over tomorrow which is Monday the nineteenth, is he still contagious?

not contagious as long as he showered and washed his hands since, which I am CONFIDENT he did. you are fine.

Oh that's good to know, I'm just super freaked out because I read online that the germ stays in the saliva four a week or two and I know he's gonna want to kiss me

Where did you read that? I've never seen that anywhere...it's been my understanding for years that it's not in saliva, but it's in vomit and feces.

The only way I can imagine it would be in his saliva is if he had just thrown up and it had mixed with his saliva (I know, gross). I imagine most people rinse their mouths out after throwing up, and combined with the constant swallow of saliva, I'd be VERY surprised if the virus was found in anyone's saliva after a week!
