Germs??

On a different post, I described my "symptoms" and people told me it sounds like I have emetophobia. I see in other posts that people are really afraid of germs because they don't want to get sick and v*. However, I am not really afraid of germs persay. I don't like to be around sick people, though. My question is: can be emetophobic and not be anxious over the germs? I hate going places still because I think I will v*.

Yes. Emetophobia is the fear of vomit or vomiting. The fear of germs is often a part of emetophobia, but it doesn't mean you're not emetophobic if you're not afraid of them.
