    Post Immunity?

I was wondering, there is a lot of facts about how your body develops and immunity to a stomach bug but since there are so many strains you are never safe, I was wondering, if you have a healthy immune system can your body fight off the virus before the virus can cause you harm?

I would think that sometimes that can happen. I assume its the same as a normal flu, if youre strong and healthy your immune system should bear the worst of it. Try to eat right and keep healthy in general and you should have less of a chance of getting it :-)

    Unhappy Re: Immunity?

I just really hope that it's true, because I mean why else would people be able to go ten years without catching a bug, or just get it twice in their whole life? if it's not true then that would mean you can pick it up any day anywhere because Norwalk virus is year round and if thats true, then I'm going to be really worried all the time. :/
