What do you like to do for fun and relaxation?
May be an old topic, but I'm new........
I like to go camping, I love to read (a cup of hot tea and a good book and there goes a few hours!) I'm trying to learn how to zumba(lol).......

I like to make jewerly. I make necklaces and stuff. Beading seems to relax me. I havent done it in awhile. I need to start again.
I sometimes make jewelry, but I'm not very good at it, really. I make flowers out of buttons and fabric which I put on headbands or make brooches out of. I also like to read, I go camping sometimes, and I don't seem to get anxious when I'm camping, for some strange reason. I've been working on my fitness a bit, too, which is becoming a bit of a hobby. I used to say that my biggest hobby was singing, but now I'm doing it as a career, so I don't know if it counts as a hobby anymore.
I love to spend time outdoors, restore old cars, and make road trips!
David
Oh, David. I wish you lived somewhere near me. There's a lovely old car which is for sale at a house in my street, but no-one I know knows anything about cars!
Guitar, Singing.
I was going to get a job as a welder, but I decided to stay in school, even after I left school I didn't want to.
@guitarfreak...now that's a band i haven't heard of in years....not since my teenage metal days...lol
Kaydee, I think singing is still a hobby sort of, as long as you skill love to do it!
guitarfreak, I really love welding and metal working. forging is really fun too, of course I just do it for artistic purposes. what made you decide not to do it?
I like painting, sewing, cooking, baking, singing, making all kinds of art

But I have decided to brazing now, maybe welding later.
I like to read and watch movies. I love to zumba once a week!! I hope to start doing it more than just once a week to get in shape. I feel like I'll feel better when I get in shape and also during that whole 45 minutes I never think of my fear
I paint and draw. I read too. And i love to take pictures
Photography! <3
Photography, reading, watching movies, finding great music to listen to...
Shopping (clothes, shoes, makeup, books), reading, watching documentaries, walking along the Sea Wall, cooking/baking, and playing Sorority Life (I know.) I too have been into making bracelets lately; they're pretty simple but pretty and sparkly. I've been thinking about getting back into ballet again lately too if my feet will tolerate it.

Love me or hate me I am who I am. It isn't going to change. Don't confuse a succinct response or commitment to accuracy as being cavalier or patronizing.
Barbiegirl, I've been thinking about Ballet, too, I took a few classes and loved it, but couldn't continue. It's so beautiful, but I'm a little on the heavy side, and I'm too scared to join a class! It really is beautiful though! I'm assuming you've done it before? How long did you dance for?
Don't be scared to join a class! Weight really doesn't matter unless you are competitive or dancing in a ballet company. Beginners classes have people of all shapes and sizes and no one wears tutus, unitards etc, usually just lululemons and soft slippers. There are DVDs that you can buy and do at home too if you really are too uncomfortable to start a class right now (The New York City Ballet Workout series is quite good if you are interested in a more serious home DVD).
I danced ballet until I was 14 or so, so for about 10 years. It messes with your head at that level a lot though, and my feet are permanently destroyed from dancing en pointe. But it is such a killer work out, and so beautiful to watch.

I'm interested in many things. I dabble in photography and graphic design, music, creative writing, and psychology. But where I want to take my career is somewhere in the science field. I'm definitely a science nerd ;]

Finding a hobby is the key to unlocking true happiness. For me, photography and photo editing became my escape and joy. It is amazing to capture moments and turn them into art. I have learned so much and found great tools that make it easier. For example, I discovered website https://skylum.com/luminar/face-ai-editor which helps me enhance portraits effortlessly. It is so rewarding!</p>
