I have a two year old that threw up tonight. I had three panic attacks and left my daughter at my aunts where she threw up. I am afraid to sleep and I am afraid that I am going to get sick. I just need to talk it out. Anyone here tonight. I dont know how to use the PM and the chat feature doesnt work on my crappy PC.

I'm sorry your child is sick!

I am not saying that you won't catch it or something becuase I can not be sure of that at all. But take in mind that children can vomit for reasons thatare very unlikely that adults would vomit from. Don't worry. There are many things that cause vomiting that aren't contagious. My mother has been near me when I was sick, possibly with something contagious, and she hasn't gotten sick in probably over 20 years! And she isn't even an emetophobic. But if you do happen to start feeling sick, as a precaution to that, you may want to have some anti-nausea pills or something just in case. I wish the best for you!

Awww im sorry ur child is sick (

My 2yr old daughter was sick last april and im just glad my boyfriend was there to help ,me deal with it. She was sick about 7 or 8 times and i was alone with her for one of them. But the next day i cried my eyes out because i was so scared id get it too. But kids do get more bugs than adults, we can deal with it better. So i bet u wont get ill. I dont think ive ever seen my parents ill at the same time as me or my brothers and sister!!!

Hope you are feeling better about this, and that ur child is ok now?

Did she stay at your aunt's because she was feeling sick and you couldn't handle it, or because of your panic attacks? Maybe, if it was the latter, it was just excitement at being away from home? Small children seem to really enjoy nights away from home (when they know the person they are staying with really well) and get over-excited very easily. When you are two, over-excitement=v****!

Either way, it is extemely unlikely you will get anything - your immune system is much better developed.

    Best wishes, Jill xxx
