Diazepam

Hi,I was prescribed diazepam 5mg tablets for before hospital(I was really nervous) but I found them a waste of time they had no effect on me at all.Is anyone the same? and if so what works for you in nervous situations.

i am taking diazepam 2mg regulary for a few weeks to help control panic/anxiety attacks but they dont really do much for me either, just takes the edge off it. Im not sure what else they can use that works as fast? Sorry thats not much help really!

hi disco,i take vallium before i go to the dentist,aand i find it definetley helps....I take 5mg the nite before and another 5mg when i wake......then when i get to the dentist before i get in the chair,he gives me another 10mg,now this is not advisable to be taken unless under supervision.but i don't understand why it didn't have any affect on u at all,i have been agrophobic for yrs and found it difficult to get out but by taking one 5mg vallium,i'm ok.


maybe u should speak to the doctor
