I think I have a stomach ache right now and I really don't know why. I'm on my period; my second day now and I just got done doing eighty crunches about three hours ago. Could this be why it hurts? I haven't over eaten today. Last I ate was at five 'o clock. I remember growing up I'd get a stomach ache and I'd whine and ask my mom if I would vomit and she always said, "Oh. You probably will. No big deal." So now I always think that I will vomit from a stomach ache. I'm so scared. What is wrong with me?

Aww hunn first try to calm down, so much of this is anxiety. Nothing is wrong. Yes it could hurt because of your period but what I think is that its actually your muscles hurting. I confuse my stomach muscles hurting with stomach aches. But you just need to remind yourself that thats all it is. You wont v*.

It is probably your mid-section muscles that are sore. Exercise can cause this. I'm pretty sure that's what it is. But I'm not 100% sure. Also, period can cause this. Some people vomit from their periods, but most don't. A lot of people feel some discomfort in the mid-section, but do NOT vomit. But, they would have to get nausea from that. Now, is it actual nausea or justa pain or ache in your stomach?

I'm sure it's from your period or the exercise. Whenever I exercise or have my period, I feel somewhat bad.

What is all this?? I have NEVER heard of women v* from their periods!! My mother suffered from excruciating pain and discomfort during her periods and she was never sick!!!

Please people stop saying these things, you will scare others!

Im sure you probably have a stomache ache due to ur period and the exercise u did, ur muscles are probably just remembering what theyve just been thru and thinking wow that hurt a lil!

    Try not to worry!

Yeh, I highly highly doubt that people v* from periods. Okay, theres a chance, but I have never heard of it! Even people I know who have the weakest stomaches in the world dont do this. And if its true, the chances are pretty well nil. Don't worry hunn, your not gonna v*. Its just your muscles and your period combined. Take care and maybe try putting a heat pad on your stomach or taking a warm bath.

Some people vomit because of their periods. It is their hormones. I am not trying to scare others, but it can happen. In fact, a while ago, I reading a magazine that has a body question and answer section, and it is people writing in to ask. A person wrote in that she vomits from her periods. So, it CAN happen. I never said it was common. That is probably why you haven't heard of people vomiting from it. It is not common. You are taking it like I said it was common. I was just stating that she CAN get mid-section painor whatever from your period, but SHE will probably NOT vomit. In fact, I just read an article on a hospital's website. It says that people may get nausea in addition to the cramps, BUT RARELY ONE WILL VOMIT. That means, if you do get nausea or stomach ache from your period, it most likely will NOT lead to vomiting.

It's true that some women v* from periods because of hormones. Not to
discourage anyone, but you're bound to hear it sooner or later from
someone. But the chances of it happening are very, very slim, and an
emet v*ing from her period is pretty much impossible.
My mother had this problem when she was younger, but she wasn't emet.
I've had the same horrible periods ever since I was sixteen, but I've never
even come close to v*ing. So don't worry. Period stomachaches are
painful, but there's no danger of throwing up from them.
Just take some advil and drink lots of tea

    God Bless!

Well, last year, in school, I had very bad cramps and had to go to the school nurse because I could not concentrate on what the teacher was saying AT ALL. So, I was laying on one of the cots there and she was giving me tips on how to soothe them and she also mentioned that when she got cramps, she felt all icky and felt like she was going to throw up. Now, she didn't say if she actually did, but she should know what she's talking about since she is a nurse, so every once and a while (or never) you may hear about someone doing the deed from periods, but chances are, you will not, especially since you are an emet.
