I have my high school diploma and one year of college, woohoo!! As my grandmother said, I got my MRS. degree in college. In other words, I met my hubby, got married and had a baby, and never went back. I wish I had finished now, but the thought of going back to school scares me, I dont think Im smart enough to do it now ......
I dont understand the US system!
I have enough credits to have my associate's degree, but I decided to go straight for the bachelor's and I am a junior.

\"This too shall pass\"
izzy: lol it's v. complicated.
grade school is first grade (about 6 years old) to fifth grade (about ten or eleven years old). Then there is middle school, which is sixth grade (eleven or twelve) to eighth grade (thirteen or fourteen). Lastly you have high school, grades nine to twelve (14-18 years old) which is the end of mandatory education. Then there's college, which is four years, and when you complete it you recieve your bachelor's degree. If you another, i think it is four years, then you get your masters. And if you do another cycle, which might be longer, you get your PhD. Oh, and in high school and college the years have names, it goes freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior.
Wow, i just confused myself!!

You'd probably be a sophomore in high school with two more years to go until you are finished with compulsory education.Originally Posted by xsarah-warahx

sophomore's a greek word lol and yes, it LITERALLY means "wise fool". cuz sopho in Greek means wise (like my name, Sophia. hehe...) and more (which is pronounced moh-reh in Greek) means fool. in Greece you can commonly hear people saying "Ela, more!" which pretty much means anything the lines of "come one, idiot!" "oh, come on!" "oh, please!" anything like that. It's not really translatable. I'm Greek, by the way.
by the way, my education level is high school, I'm a freshman (9th grade)
I'm at uni with two years to go on my degree which is Bachelor Science-psychology... But I'd love to keep studying after I finish it!!

This test about education levels is so interesting! It really makes you think about how much learning shapes our future. As a student, I have sometimes struggled with complex assignments, but desicion to buy nursing papers online has been a great help. It is a lifesaver for staying on track and managing my workload!
