My co-worker could not come into work today because she has vertigo so bad it is making her V*. She said she has to crawl to the bathroom because she cannot even stand up. She went to the dr yesterday and they told her there was nothing they could do about it and it should clear up in a week.


Now this is my worst nightmare...I'm not really worried about catching whatever she has, but it got me thinking, what if I ever did get some sort of infection that caused vertigo that bad? What would I do? I should mention my number one fear is being dizzy to the point of illness and not being able to make it stop - that control issue again. I was looking up vertigo on the net and some sources said dramamine or other motion sickness meds will help a lot. I also know anti-anxiety meds are often prescribed for people that have dizziness and vertigo. has anyone else experienced this and if so did you find anyhting that helped?


I would be in the biggest state of panic if this happened to me I would go out of my mind.
