This reminded me of all of you...

I was reading my text book for my class on marriages and families today and I came across a quote that really reminded me of all of you. For the most part this book focuses on family being a group of related people living together in a house, but there's one chapter that defines family as being a whole lot more and I totally agree.


The quote that really touched me, and reminded me so much of all of you and my online emet family was this one...


* Family means having a place where you can be yourself, even sometimes your worst self... and still belong. *


I don't think that you have to be related to people to feel like you're a part of a family. To feel that you have someone to turn to and knowing that others can turn to you. A family is there to offer emotional support throughtout tough times and those of you on this site, and you know who you are who've helped other through their worst time... you know that we're, in a very special way, a family.
So thank you to all of you for being a family to me... for allowing me and for allowing everyone on here to come for support and encouragement and to be allowed to be who they are! It means so much!!

i dont know if iv shared this quote with you all before, but this is a nice quote "friends are God's way of apologising for ur families". by friends in this case, i mean the "family" we have here... and by families i mean the "bloody family".
