Hey all,

Man, sorry to whine, but I know you all understand. Man my stomach has been off since like saturday night. Yesterday it was pretty ok till later, but now (tues morning) its cramping awful and I feel sick, and intestines are crampin too and Im just so scared to go to college. I just am so scared to be sick there or something. I think Im getting PMS this week, but geez man. I hate this, I feel liike I can't make it thro the semester. I hate having to face the nausea and the cramps and the fear of bein sick everyday. Im not eating a whole lot, just cause Im afraid to cause I usually feel sick. Man I just can't win. I HAVE to go to college, but dang, if you miss more than 3 classes they threaten to kick you out. I just can't face sitting in a class for an hour and a half sweating bullets cause I feel sick. Man and if its not college you have to get thro, its work. I hate this so much, I wishI could just crawl under the blankets and never come out. I am so envious of the people who can just go and are fine and never give things like this a second thought. But no we gotta somehow be brave everyday and go despite the fear and the pain.

Hey there
*huuuuuuuuuuuuggge hug*
I know exactly how you're feeling. I had to go through school and collge feeling exactly like that every day too. But i got through it, and you can too! I know its so hard. But the thing that kept me going is the fact that ive only ever been sick about 5 times in my life an that was from real illness and not being able to get out of bed! even tho the statistics that you wont be sick are virtually 100%, i know it doesnt change the way that you are thinkin, because ive been there too. The best thing i found was to use things to distract myself when i was feeling sick and surpressing the feeling and trying my best to get it out of my mind. Do your friends around you in college know? Because if they dont, telling them will make it so much easier for you to cope with college on a daily basis, also maybe confide in one of you're closest teachers/tutors, just so you know that there is someone there who can act as a safetly net for you, dont bottle it up an keep it to your self, the more people around you dealing with it, the easier it will become for you!
Well i hope that helped you!
Love always

Hey Faith Marylin, thank you for your words of wisdom. I guess I do tend to keep emet to myself, and really only you people know and my bf who is very supportive. I dont live at college, which makes it easier thankfully, but still its just the sitting thro class that can be hard.

Jen- you are and have always been such a great encourager. You too are very strong, and don't give up. Knowing people like you are out there help me know Im not alone and others go thro the same stuff everyday. Your right about everyone having something. Our "cross to bear" is emet, and some one elses might be a bad temper, or dyslexia, or a physical imparement. My mom told me no one is without something, and I know thats true, its just hard when your issue really gets in the way of things like this. I too agree that being out on my own here sometime will help some (I hope!). Well, only thing to do is keep chuggin.

Galadriel, i know exactly how you feel. I can't sit still in class at the moment because something convinces me i feel ill.
I feel sick! All the freakin time, i can't sleep or eat properly. I eat really bland food, and as soon as something repeats on me..alarm bells ring and I panic and feel even worse.
I also hate the feeling of feeling full ( anyone get this? )something tells me that if i'm full, it won't take a helluva lot to make me sick.
This is completely taking over..
I'm there for ya hun

Hello:

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. I remember feeling that way when I was in college. I know it sucks, but it does get better. One thing that helps though is when you are in class, try to focus on what you are learning/studying that day. It makes those long classes go by quicker. Really pay attention to your professor and what he/sheistalking about. And if the class is boring b/c a lot of them are, try to make it interesting and funthe best you can. Hope this helps you. Take Care.
