......... with those here who suffer from OCD. I am a member of a couple of OCD boards, but they aren't very active boards and I can't seem to bond with anyone there. Since being here I have seen what a great bunch of people there are here, and I love that about this site. Would anyone with OCD, or even without OCD but who can relate to anxiety disorders, like to exchange emails and/or posts about coping?

    Thanks.

    Love,
    Karen.

I was diagnosed with OCD about a year ago. I wouldn't mind exchanging emails and talking. I'm sixteen though so I dont really know what kind of age you're looking for.

    Dear Karen,

I unfortunately suffer from OCD. Lately, for me,it's been sky-rocketing to high levels.I would love to exchange e-mails or send PMs or whatever!OCD is so hard and it trapsyoulike a spider web. I think sharing tips, stories, advice, or whatever else would be extremely helpful!

I have never been officially dx'ed with OCD but I have
traits, thats for sure. However I have Asperger's and many people with
Asperger's have OCD like traits so I still sympathize and somewhat
    empathize with you.

    Hey Karen,

like Miriram - i have never been diagnosed but when my emet was really bad i certainly had OCD traits too. id go aorund washing plates load and then stressing abt drying them with the dish towel incase germs got onto the plate - since i was thirteen i had this thing were i had to touch three pieces of wood three times and say a prayer before i went to sleep - and it was always - please dont make me be sick, feel sick have diarohea or a stomahc ache - tonight and tomorrow and the day after that....

Anyway - if you need anyone to chat too - then feel free to email me - i think its in my profile - or post away as i know everyone here will be really supportive - u have already made loads of new friends in our little family!
