Off topic but HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, I really need to get this out....I am going to court tomorrow because I am suing the company I worked for last year because they fired me because I was panicing all the time, my emet at the time was very bad, and I`m pretty sure that thats the reason they let me go, anyways I am a nervous wreck today, I am very bouncy and my stomach is jumping and I know I won`t be able to sleep tonight, and I`m so afraid I`m going to be humiliated tomorrow, I don`t want to see their faces but I want them to pay......I just know thats the reason they fired me. I had been there 7 months, my probabtion was after 3, why not let me go then if it was because I wasn`t good enough at my job??????

Try to relax. I think everyone is nervous before they attend court. Don't be ashamed to show your face in front of them. They are the ones who should be ashamed. Your fear is very real and even if they didn't understand it fully they should have at least made an attempt to......


Best of luck to you. You ARE very brave and I hope you win. I'm sickand tired of Emetophobes being walked on because we fear something not too many do. Let us know how it goes if you'd like. You'll be fine. Just remember to RELAX.

Hi,this happened with me a few years ago but i didn't need to take them to court....I'd took 6mths of work,which i was entitled to as I'd been with the company for just over 4yrs at the time,but i returned after the 6mths and things were difficult,i had a new boos and she just didn't want me there as first of all i returned to light duty's and not in uniform.....But after a few weeks she put me back on the roster with shifts and not only that back in uniform and being a supervisor on my own at night with out any qualified person supporting me at all....So i said i wasn't happy and then they sent me to a company doctor and he said i wasn't fit to dothat job anymore.....I was gutted but i knew that if i had had the support and help i would have had no problem...anyway a long story cut short i got laid off as they would call it,in other words sacked but i went to a solicitor and they settled out of court.....I'm glad it didn't go to court as there's no way that i would have coped,so u are being very brave....I don't know if it's the same procedure in Canada as it is in the uk......But i wish u all the luck ,and will be thinking of u.....
