I think vomiting on planes rarely happens! ive been going abroad every summer for the past 11 years and ive only seen someone be sick on a plane once. It was this summer and it was a boy sitting one seat back and across the aisle from me. I managed to cope and it has made me a stronger person for travelling because of it. I know people who get carsick, but never people who get airsick. Plus whenever im on a plane there is usually a plane or i listen to my discman and read so i cant hear and im too busy reading! Ive never found travelling by plane much of an issue, in terms of my emetophobia.

    One
time when I was 6 I was on a plane and some man on the other side of
the aisle was v'ing. I was freaking out like you wouldnt believe OMG
but have never seen it since. Besides I think if most people have a
tendency to get airsick these days, they take dramamine/gravol or
something before hand, if they have enough sense to do that!

I've been trying to post a post three times already and it keeps placing my post in the vomiting on planes post? Why?

I know the forum is having difficulties, all I can suggest is PM'ing John. But please don't post hundreds of posts trying to figure it out cos it makes clearing up very hard lol, its being randomly weird and I will try and find John as soon as I can to fix it.

    Thank You

I was doing my house cleaning when I started to feel tired and so I decided to take a break and watch some t.v. Well I started to feel hot all of a sudden and as if I had to go to the washroom, I checked my temperature and it's normal so maybe its from the days heat because I cleaned my mom's house this afternoon in a mad dash to hurry up so I could come home and do my own

I did go to the washroom but I also had some cake today from a co-workers birthday

But I feel really drained like I could go to sleep and its only 5:30 in the afternoon, but this week I haven't stopped once, weather to do my books for my business, or my house work, or errands, all after work, maybe its just catching up.

Everything I am feeling has a logical explanation but at the same time I'm not sure, my head feels hazzie, like I don't know whats real and whats not....

Have I helped myself??????? Deep down I want to panic but its not happening yet even though these symptoms are all pointing to a panic...

    help???????

I was reading the newspaper the other day and there was this article on
a plane that left Houston and midway to where the destination was this
woman started v* then 4 or 5 other people started v*. The landed
the plane to see if there was food poisoning or something on the plane
    making people sick.

Well, after their investigation, they determined that the woman that
started v* had a stomach virus and the other people that v* after her,
v* because they saw her do it!

I can't imagine being STUCK in my seat on a plane. TRAPPED, OMG!!
Just the thought of it makes me scared. I would want to run away but
what can you do on a plane?

I hate planes My husband is always talking about visiting far away places. I can't do it..I can't.

That's pretty gross. But I've been on plenty of planes, and never been in that situation!
.I just want to feel safe in my own skin. I just want to be happy again. I just want to feel deep in my own world. But I’m so lonely I don’t even want to be with myself. <3

I agree - I hate travelling by plane cause you cant get off it if you want too! Flying I think doesnt get easier to face if you dont id often. People have found out by doing it that people rarely v* on planes. As far as I'm concerned it happens alot, cause I havent flown for 8 years. But I guess with anything really, the more times you do it, the easier it becomes. I'm not planning to fly any time soon, but would love to go abroad at some point in the next 5 years.

texas-darlin - that sounds awful! But I've heared of this too, I have experianced it (not to me personally - touch wood), I think its quite rare, and only if people have very weak stomachs, or maybe the people who v* were scared of flying and so they were stressed out anyway? hmmm But Its not likely to happen, think of all the times people have v* and no one else has!

    Well...

I flew for the first time in TEN years a few weeks ago. It was only an hour flight. But oh boy did I feel SICK!

I didn't v* thanfully and I was fine as soon as I was off the plane. Weird, huh? But on the way home I took two dramamine and I was totally fine. But now I'm kinda afraid that Dramamine really didnt help me and I felt fine by luck and next time I get on a plane I'll feel sick again. But, I have to get over that and not give in to the emet! There's so many beautiful places to see in this world
    Peace,
