treatment at a dermatologists office? I'm supposed to have one tomorrow. He said it helps toreduce oil. It's supposed to take about 5 minutes. My face will red for awhile afterwards. He said it looks like a sunburn. They also apply a sulfur mask afterwards, but I'm not sure. Anyone had this done? I'm just scared I'm going to do it and it's going to wreck my face or something.

I haven't, but let me know if it works. I am about at my wits end with my complexion. It was bad before, but now that I'm pregnant it is horrible! I would love to find something that helps. Unfortunately I can't do much now while I'm pregnant, but after the baby is born I will be in the dematologist's office immediately!

I've always had problems with my complexion. What type of skin do you have? Mine is very oily. My face doesn't look bad, but he thinks it will help with the oil and reduce the size of my pores temporarily. It's a temporary fix, but I think you might have to go every 2-3 weeks to get results. I've been getting those huge cysts for some reason, and I keep going to him to give me those cortizone shots. They really work. I don't know why I'm getting them. I'm not really stressed about anything. I know they are caused by bacteria. I asked him a question last week and asked him to answer it honestly. I said, if I obsess about getting them, does that make my skin worse? And he said yes. He said once you notice yourself obsessing about them, focus on something else. How ironic, huh? Kind of like this phobia, you know? I'm trying not to think about them. At night, I use Retin-A Micro Gel, which I love. I've been on it for years and 1% Clindagel which is equal to 10mg of clindamycin. It's a topical antiobioticwhich works pretty good. I just don't know about this procedure. I just don't want it to dry my face out or make it worse. He said that highschool students come in before school to get it done, and he said they like it, but I still don't know. I was also given oral antibiotics, but I don't want to take them unless I really have to b/c of yeast infections. I get so sick of them. Since u are pregnant, what can you use on your face? If anything at all? I might have some suggestions. I've tried everything.
