hi

i just got home from a week-long vacation from St. Marten to find out that one of my cats (the littlest one, just a kitten) has been missing for three days. my cousin (whos 23 years old) has been looking after both of my cats this past week, and left a note saying that Pookie (the kitten) went out on Thursday night at 8pm, and hasnt been back since. Im soooo worried and im so upset...especially now, since we're currently being hit with a big winter storm!

    thanks,

Aaaww, I hope you find her. I am a huge cat lover so I know how that feels. I have also lost cats, and kittens are so inquisitive that they tend to wander after whatever interests them. Keep trying!!

I hope he's okay, I won't tell you the story about our cat cause it's sad. I'm sure he'll come back when he's hungry. I hope you find him.

Make sure you check the local animal shelters and SPCA. That hapened to me when my cat was a kitten too. Somehow, the little brat managed to get out of an apartment building, from the third floor, an noone saw her. Anyway, it was winter here then too, and I was freaking. I was out on the river (we lived right beside it) screaming for her, for hours, and it was COLD!

Next day, I called the SPCA and animal shelters. The one animal shelter had picked up a cat that resembled her, and I went down there (FAST) and sure as s***, it was her!!!

Don't give up hope. My cats go out once ina while (when they get past me) and sometimes all night, or even a few days, but come back.

    Haley

The same thing happened to me. I was gone for a long weekend and when I came back my cat was gone. I was completely devestated. To top it off, it was raining non-stop. I posted flyers, handed them out door to door, went to all the local shelters. I was so upset. He was an indoor cat only, and never went outsided he was all 4 paw declawed, so he couldn't defend himself. Then about a week into him missing, I was sitting at my neighbors talking and crying about missing him. I was even hearing his meow's. Then, I was like wait is that him? I started calling out his name and I kept hearing him. We were looking everywhere. I got down on my hands and knees and looked under my neigbors house and there he waswedged under there. He was thee the whole time dry as a bone.

So please, remember cats have a sense about coming home. I know how it feels, and I am sorry that this happened. But there is a good chance you will find Pookie.

wow! Im so glad you found your kitty animals have that instinct about them, and I think that they do as much as they can to get back to their owners!

(give him lots of hugs and kitty treats this week!)
