My son has pooped 3 times today as well and it is pretty nasty poop. He too says he feels fine and he ate a big normal lunch, so who knows. I was freaking out, but thankfully my husband is home for the weekend and he has taken over so I could go to Target which is where I go to calm down. Oh well...I hope your son is better and I think they just do this sometimes...not often thankfully, but better D* than V*. Although I hate both!!!

And he just went again!!! Keeps eating fine and acting pretty normal, so I hope it is nothing or if it is something that this is it and then it's over. I think with D* most of the day, if he had a real SV with V*, he would have V* by now. Also, my son V*'s so easily and I have been totally freaking out and waiting for it, but thus far nothing, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is it. He won't take a nap which he has somewhat stopped doing anyway, but I know he will go to bed early tonight and I will be scared all night he will wake up with D* or V*.

My son has a tendency to get d* for no reason whatsoever, he has been up to 10 times a day at times, and can last a week...it's apparently not unusual in boys, though i don't know why.

I would say that if your kid is eating and acting normally then it's nothing other than one of those things...if it was a sv, you would expect him/her to be listless.

I do know how worrying all this is though.

My son is fine today. Madisonsmom...how is your son? My son ate great last night and did poop a few more times, but he was fine. Who knows. Younever know with kids and i don't even try and guess anymore. I go by if he acts o.k....he is o.k.

He V*'d after hos own b-day party a few weeks ago and kept right on running and playing, but did stop and V* for about 2 minutes. Nothing else wrong, just a thing and then it was over. I did get a bit nervous, but he acted normal and I decided even if it was an SV, if I caught it and I could act the way he did I would be fine.

I was worse at night than in the A.M. too. I think I would get so tired and run down and then the smell of food made me even more N*. I never ate a dinner for 9 months, but I did sip soup and crackers at about 6 p.m.

I'm sorry it is such a rough time, but just keep your eye on the prize and think about the first time you hold that baby in your arms and hear him/her cry and that great baby smell. It is all worth it and I am jealous of you for that. Being 41..to be 42 this fall...I have decided no more for us..the risk is too high and we have one healthy 4 year old and I was old when I had him, so we are done. I loved the baby stage and while I hated diapers, I think about those little diapers and the little poops and the little clothes and I want to cry since things are so different at this age. My son wants to pick his own clothes, dress himself, let me still wipe him off after he goes to the potty ( gotta love that) and he is so independant unless it is bedtime, he feels badly or he has to go somewhere alone.
    Feel better!!!

I am eating mashed potatoes and they are yummy. Its really unpredictable. Its usually around the same time but not every night. I though it was getting better until recently. Beef is such a turn off. YUCK!

My daughter had a case of d* 2 weeks ago and I freaked out too. She was fine in the end, but d* almost makes me go into a panic attack because I think it's going to end up with v*.

I too felt worse at night than in the morning. I actually responded to your other post about how you are feeling. Hope all is well! -Alissa
