Well it hasn't made me free from vomiting, I take rescue remedy when I am upset, it calms me down.
A person told me to take acidolphilis from the herbal store. Usually taken for yeast infections but also cleanses your body. Very good for your system.
If anyone has information on this please share

I have written before about echinacea and I believe it works at least for colds, etc. When I think I may have been exposed to anything worse, like an sv*, I take some for a few days.
I'd like to learn more about other herbs too, like acidophilus, etc. Can anyone else add in?

I have taken Aloe Vera capusules now for 8 years, these are supposed to boost the immune system and I rarely even get a cold.

i take echinacea, not to prevent colds(as it never really has for me) but to prevent the stomach sickness going around, and up until a few months ago(which is a whole different matter)it has worked wonderfully. i have been taking it since age 12 probably..and i am now 23.

how often do you usually take it?
im always afraid to take too much for a long time because they say its rendered useless..but i still take it once a week..and more if i feel exposed.

also, i heard garlic is supposed to be very good..but in me its caused gastro problems. gas and whatever.

acidophilus..there are so many different brands and kinds and blablabla to choose from. its so hard to find the best!

    Hi Happyteacher,
How much and what kind of acidophilus do you take? I have IBS too and would love to get some relief from it and also have some preventive measures in my gut too. Andee
