Last night after hearing my bf had come down with something, (v*'d 3 times, explosive d*, very very tired).. i immediately ran to my mom and started bawling, and shaking, and hyperventilating.. i became nauseous and hot and thought for sure i was about to get it. ....
i eventually calmed down a few hours later and went to bed.. but once everything got dark, i layed there... i just shook the entire time, and never went to sleep. my mind was racing the entire night. i maybe got one or two hours of sleep! im afraid of this because i know what lack of sleep does to your immunity!

so then a little bit ago(this afternoon), i all the sudden started feeling very fatigued, and felt like i couldnt even raise my arm! it felt like jello! after not eating for a long while i haddecided to eatsome lunch (noodles,banana,v8)...and it was a little after that that i began to feel so run down! my face is really super hot right now, and none of the thermometers in the house really work that well.

do any of you suffer from sleepless nights?
do they make you feel suddenly fatigued and gross and hot the next day?
do any of you constantly fret about having a temp or not??

    ugh.

Yeah lack of sleep will do that to you, but don't worry it's nothing serious. Just make sure you get yourself good and sleepy so you can catch up tonight.I would suggest having a hot bath first, then taking something hot to drink to bed with you (I would advise against hot milk because it has quite a gross after taste at night) and just read a book or listen to the radio til you get sleepy. Tv might be a bit too stimulating though. God I sound so old...

I frequently get insomnia before my period. The next day I feel extremely fatigued and out of it. Stay up until after dinner and then go to bed early, you'll feel better tomorrow. Nothing to worry about!

The ritual for me is fresh air, ice water, and constantly splashing cool water on my face. Long deep breaths in through the nose and out of the mouth. The more anxiety, theworse you're going to feel. We all know it but sometimes we have to remind ourselves. And remember, you are not going to get sick. Think of it as your BF taking one for the team. He got sick so you wouldn't have to. Right! Cool yourself off and get some clean fresh air. Relax, it's going to be O.K.
A special thank you to my daughter Alyssa. Your strength and courage gives me great inspiration. Where I am weak, you are strong. I will always love you.

I haven't been getting much sleep lately, (I don't know why) And I feel tired and fatigued quite a bit. I'm betting that it's lack of sleep that's causing you to feel this way. I don't think you are going to get sick, just go to bed early and get a little more sleep.

I suffer from insomnia pretty badly and lack of sleep does make you feel ill. If I get really over-tired I get dizzy, headachy - feel lousy. I've not slept much for the last three nights in a row and feel pretty crappy at the moment. Think I'm gonna go read on the bed this afternoon and see if I can nod off and catch up on some sleep!

    Man insomnia really
sucks. Thank goodness I've not had it much, but the times I have, the
clock seems to go in slow motion. It feels like it will never be
    morning.

When I'm overly tired I tend to feel nauseas some and I get real dopey
(giddy and stupid) and just get achyish and bleh. I'd say your just
    suffering from these after affects.
