I am still anxious, and things are actually great around here. I am still hearing about "the virus" going around, but I hear that all most people are having is the diarrhea. They may v* once, but thats it. I think I'm more anxious because my son hasnt gotten it. Wonder what the chances are of him not getting it?I think yet another reason why I am anxious is because 1.) we have plans for this weekend, and 2.) my sons kindergarten class has a field trip on Mon.

I feel like I am going post crazy here lately, but it just helps me to type it out. Sorry guys ...............

    Type away...

I think we are all sort of anxious because of the time of year. I know in my area sv's usually get worse in February and March. I HATE this time of year.

I am sorry that you are feeling anxious right now...its an awul feeling: the terrible anticipation, waiting, interigating sick people, feeling like you are crazy, etc. I have been there more times than I can count. I know that it is hard right now, but realize that our Emet blows thing ways out of proportion. When we find out these things are going around, our mindskick into overdrive and we convince ourselves that things are worse than these actually are. Just remember, children usually have a harder time with these viruses than adults...Also, I am sure that you have had many times in your life with the d*. It isn't pleasant, but you KNOW that you can get through that part. Also, if most people aren't v* and only v* once if they do, being an Emet, I am sure that you won't v*. I know that it is hard, but hang in there...all of us understand the horrible anxiety that you are going through right now. I am sorry that you are going through it...

Chances are high your son may not even been touched by it this year. I wouldn't worry. Well, actually that is harder said than done. I'm just wondering when the heck my son is going to get sick. I actually talked to one of the girls that work at the daycare he goes to and she told me they haven't seen much if any of the s/v yet. Yet being the keyword. I'm just waiting for them to tell me when it finally hits. He's had so many colds and asthma flare ups in the past 3 months I'm just hoping God will spare him of the s/v this year. My poor little guy has been through so much.

Just try not to worry and live day by day. Thats all we can do and when something does arise we will be able to deal with them better without all the worry.

Well, I was doing good until I talked to a friend of mine tonight. Well, actually it was her hubby I talked to. He was calling to tell me that he was coming down here tomorrow (they live about two hours away from us) to pick up the deer meat from the deer he got last time he was here.

    ANYWAY

While we were talking, he told me about them having to leave a dinner early tonight, because their son was acting like he didnt feel well. Then he proceeds to tell me that he v'd all over his mom (my friend) on their way out to the car!!!!

I was feeling so much better about all of this stuff, til he told me that, and we have plans for tomorrow, so now I am worried about my son still. I hate this!! Do you think he will be exposing us (especially hubby) tomorrow while hes here?

Is he coming down by himself or bringing the family with him. He is coming to your place right?

Yes, hes coming to our house, and I dont think he is bringing the whole crew. Didnt sound like it anyway. I just hope he will be ok and not be exposing my husband.

Me and the children can just not be here or something.
