I'm a member of a website that is all moms of young children. A few
days I put up a poll about our kids getting the sv. Specifically, I asked
if "your child has had a sv this winter". The results made me feel better
- 85% of people answered no! People from all over took part in this
poll, not just people from the US but from across the world. Also, most
of their children are under 4 years old, so prime age for the sv. I guess
it made me feel better because it seems like EVERYONE under the sun
is getting/has had it, but seeing real results from real people made it
obvious that it's not as widespread as we think.

^^ *crosses fingers* When you say that...now that I think about it...where I live...the sv* hasn't shown its face in about two years, which I'm really happy about...though everyone just gets colds and such.

That does seem a little more realistic to me than what goes on around these forums. I just never hear anything about it around here, maybe one person every once in a while...I also never had it as a kid. Maybe the people I am around just aren't as vocal about it. Who knows.

I think that is great news!! I think I would have to ask how many parents caught the bug from their children when they did have it.

Just out of curiosity, whats the website?
