I have felt ill since last night ( I baby sat 2 neices and a nephew on saturday) and now I have felt sick all day.

It's terrible. I mean I can only coax myself into feeling semi-alright when I am completely alone and I want to tell my dad just to leave me alone, but how do you do that and not sound like a jerk? Also, my girlfriend, God love her, i am sure she wants to see me, but when I feel like this I need to be alone alone and more alone. Trouble with that is since i have been alone all day I am now lonely! Life as an emet is horrible. I am a walking bag of nerves when I am technically fine, and when I do actually feel ill I am 100X worse.

Anyone else have a terrible need to be alone when they feel like this? Good thing is I watched movies all day (Skeleton Key and Constant Gardener) but I would trade everything right now just to feel 100%. I'll be chiming in all night I'm sure because when I am like this I have such a hard time going to sleep.

    Anyone around?

Tell your friends and family that you aren't feeling good and don't feel like being around anyone. Most people will respect your privacy for a few days without thinking much of it.

Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Aw, I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. I agree that people will generally understand if you just say you aren't feeling well and want to rest. I'm actually opposite, when I feel anxious and sick I want someone w/ me. Not like a crowd or anything but one or 2 comforting people. We're all different tho. You'll be OK. These "funks" as I call them hit us all at sometime or another. You will come out ok tho!
