I am all done with my surgery and i amhome, but i am in alot of pain, I can't sit down... only lay down and go to the bathroom. I had some complicaions during the surgery and it ended up being 7 hours long. I was very nausous when I woke up but I did not v*. I am still feeling woozy casue I am laying down all the time. I have about a 4 inch insicion going long ways on my stomach, and 2 other smaller inscisons, and they hurt really bad. I is difficult to get up with out the help of someone, but I am trying my hardest. Supposdly everything went well and my kidney should be corrected, they just rain into a extra blood vessel crossing my kidney making it difficult to perform the surgery.

But I made it!!! No v* (so far) and I am proud of myself for being so strong. Will update you guys agin when I feel better.

    hey Michele!

Glad your surgery went well and you are back home! Hope you continue to recover, and that this is the last surgery you will need.

I'm glad it went okay! It's a buymmer that it took a little longer than expected, but at least you shouldn't have to go back for any more! Take it easy, rest, don't overdo it and get better soon!

I am so glad this is over for you. I am sorry that you are suffering. There is no other way to look at recovery from surgery other than it takes time. I hate to write this platitude, because it really does not help you in the moment. Just take baby steps, each day at a time, to a full recovery.

Hey guys thanks...Right now I am not doing so well. My kidney is really hurting and I am running a fever of 100.1. I don't feel very well and fear I may have to go back to the hospital. My incision on my stomach is feeling better, but my kidney is really killing me. So bad in fact I was ready to just shot myself last night. It is really tough and I guess I didn't think it was going to be this bad. I just keep praying that I am all right, and asking God to give me strength. I could really use all of your prayer...cause this is way harder than I thought. I just hope I don't have to go back to the hospital. 3 days there was enough for me.

Hey guys, well its 730pm and I am feeling much better than this morning. My fever is only about 99 and the pain isn't quite as bad, in fact I am able to sit in front of the computer now!! What I really need to do is take a big poop, and I will feel even better (not to be gross) its just that it is diffcult to do when you have abdominal surgery since they filled my stomach and instestines up with air so it was eaiser to move then out of the way. The good news is too, I have been eating pretty decent today, I didn't eat Thursday or Friday, now my appitie is coming back.

Slowly but surely I am recovering, I am just happy that the worst is over and from now on I will start feeling better. One day at a time right? But I will not go anywhere or do anything until I am 100% I just can't take the risk. Thanks everyone for all your support, thoughts and prayers, it means so much that you all thought of me. I really appreciate it!
