I went to see my husband at work and a guy he works with (I don't know him) came up because he didn't know he I was and tried to help me (my hubby works retail). When he talked to me, he spit and I felt it land on my lip! I wiped it off on my shirt, but now I am freking out. What if he has been sick? What are my chances of catching something? Ahh!!! Have you asked your hubby if the guys has been sick? He probably hasn't and even if he had you wiped it off and didn't ingest it. I'm sure you're fine! How'd your dental appt go?

I haven't yet. I came home and he's still at work. I will when he gets home. The probelm is, everyone he works with calls in sick ALL THE TIME so he may tell me that he calle din the other day, which will of course really make me panic, when he may not have been sick at all. He doesn't work in my husband's department either, so I'm not sure if he would really even know.

The dentist appointment went fine. No cavities - yay! No one appeared to be sick! I actually really like this dentist, much better than others I've had in the past. Like I said, I don't mind the actual appointment, it's just the fear of catching something. The dentist did make a prediction on my baby though - he said it would be a girl, born on July 4th, 6 lbs 1oz. He even wrote it in my chart! I guess I will have to let him knbow if he's right when I go back in about 6 months!

My husband called and the guy hasn't been sick, although I'm not sure my hubby knows for sure.

It would be funny if the dentist is right about the baby! No, we don't have any names picked really. My hubby refuses to talk to me about it until we know what it is. I think he is afraid of getting so set on one name and then finding out it's the opposite sex. THe one name we actually have talked about for a girl is Kayla. He told me he really likes that name and our last name is really short (one syllable) so I think it would work well. But we aren't even set on that yet.

I get spat upon everyday at school by kids on accident and haven't gotten the SV yet. However, if a kid sneezes and I'm in the same room - I get an cold within about 6 seconds!

Don't worry its not stupid - I would have freaked out over the same thing! My old boss did that to me once, we were chatting in his office and he spat at one point and it landed on my lip, and then he went on to tell me that he hadnt been well the night before. I nearly passed out with fright!

Needless to say, I didn't catch anything!
