I know you guys can relate so I thought I would pose my question here. What is it that causes those days where you just feel crappy even if you are not "sick" per se? I have been feeling very good consistently for the last few weeks then BAM today I feel really crappy and I have no idea why. The only thing I can think of is that I did hot yoga last night and had a slight headache after (this is common as supposedly it is a sign of your body "detoxifying"). However, that was last night and I still have the headache and a general feeling of achiness, fatigue and slight nausea..I kinda feel slightly hungover or like I just woke up from a too long nap.

I have been drinking a ton of water the last few days, getting out and walking 30 minutes during lunch, eating pretty well, taking my vitamins, sleeping normally, and nowhere near my period...yet I know everyone gets these random crappy feeling days sometimes. What do you think causes them?

Oh yeah I know exactly what you mean. Really I think it could be anything, horomones (even not on your period because being a woman we are ALWAY having fluctuations), our sugars go up and down all day, sometimes even good food doesn't sit right, being tired, too much sleep, not enough water, too much caffiene, a headache, the list goes on. I think nonemets feel it too but don't pay it any mind, as we would pay no attention if our pinky hurt for a bit lol (ok bad example but you knwo what i mean lol) I hope this helps!

Yeah, I always think hormones too, but my hubby gets these icky feeling days often too, and men don't seem to have the same hormone problems we do (lucky buttholes). Sometimes I wonder if it is from stuff we can't really control like pollution or something...

I often wonder the answer to this myself since some days I wake up feeling great and remain that way all day and then other days I feel crappy and sluggish. I never have really mentioned it to others because I felt it was only me. It's good to know that other people have "off" days too.

Oh, I know even non-emets have crappy days...my husband does all the time and so do my two co-workers I sit by...I think feeling randomly crappy is a non-biased thing...

Could your body be fighting something or wanting some time to rest? I get those days mainly after I have been working hard or had some stressful days back to back. I try and sleep and let my body get back into sync. I was trying to take one of those days today, but it didn't happen --I just felt icky and stayed awake.

I don't know, I am not very good at identifying when I am stressed out until it's too late and I feel bad. I suppose that could be the reason...sometimes I get stressed out without even realizing it, you know?
