on sunday night i had a case of loose bowels, i wasnt in pain just a
bit of bloating. My bowels werent d* but loose enough to worry me.
Yesterday i felt a bit rubbish all day but had plenty of appetite,
again my bowels were loose with a very slight trace of blood. I took a
d* tablet incase i had to go to work (which i never) but it hurt my
stomach where it must have cramping it all up. i went to the loo
slightly last night before and my motions werent too bad. This morning,
i ate breakfast and was feeling a bit better. Then this afternoon i had
this cramping around the bottom of my stomach tried not to worry as i
thought it was just my bowels moving again. I went to the toilet and my
bowels were loose and quick, still with a slight burning sensation and
discomfort then my bowels became d* havent been to the toilet in 2
hours, but worried! i dont feel sick or have bellyache, its all lower
    down!

Hmm, I don't know what that could be. Have you called the doctor? It may just be some irritation but when there's blood I would think it best to get it checked out. As far as the cramping and going that too could be soemthing irritated your bowels. SInce you have an appetite and are feeling otherwise OK I wouldn't think that you are ill. Have you taken any new meds? Eaten anything different? Gone thru any extra stress? Do you have IBS? Anyhow sorry I can'tbe more of a help. I hope you feel better soon!

I am not a doctor by any means, but it sounds like IBS to me. I have suffered from it for years. On and off I have d*. I actually have it quite frequently, probably 3 or 4 times per week at least. Its all stress for me. One thing that helps is Imodium advanced, I am not sure if they sell it in the UK, but here in the US its the best OTC for d*. I know that its a pain, discomfort, inconvenience, especially at work....I feel for you.

It would also be wise if you haven't been diagnosed with IBS to go in to your doctor and get it checked out. Sometimes ulcers can cause blood in your stool and d* too.
