Until my surgery!!! I am starting to get more and more nervous!!! They are going to make a 5-6 inch incison above my belly button and go in to get to my kidney. Then once my Doc is in, he is going to cut off part of my kidney and part of my ureter, then reconstruct my ureter so it functions again. This is my 4th and hopefully final surgery!!! Can you guys believe it 4 surgries in less than 1 and half years??? I was really upset the past couple of days, crying and stuff. I have been stressing out about the fact I might get sick when I wake up from surgery. Plus I got to spend a couple of nights in the hosptial. But...I am trying my hardest to stay strong and positive!! I can't wait to finally feel good. No more pain, uncofortableness when I go pee, I will be able to walk without feeling like s***, it's so exciting to know in about 8 weeks or so that I will finally feel better.

I will post as soon as I can to let you all know how the surgery goes, wish me luck!! See you guys soon.

Hey Michele!

I'm sure things will turn out well, and it will be great for you
to be feeling better and not having to deal with all the discomfort
anymore. When you go in for the surgery just tell them you are afraid
about the possibility of v*ing, and if they could give you something in
your IV so that when you wake up you won't feel sick. I did this when I
had surgery last year and I felt great after, no sick feeling or
anything. Don't feel embarassed to bring it up.

Good luck, Michele! Your'e going to do great and like you said feel so much better, it will all be worth it. So anytime you get anxious just rememebr this is a matter of hours(for surgery) and days (in the hospital) for a lifetime of no more pain and no more surgeries! I just have a feeling that everything will work out fine for you and when you get bakc you will be telling us how you worried for nothing. I know you're scared but you really are a brave, tough cookie and will get thru this w/o a hitch. I will keep you in my prayers and can't wait to hear back from you!
