BLAH!! My husband was feeling sick yesterday morning, my daughter got sick in her bed in the middle of the night, only once, ate when she woke up this morning, but then just moped around all day. My mother in law picked up both of my girls to have them spend the night (Haley still wanted to go) and just now when I called to check on her, my mother in law said that she doesn't think Haley feels well, that she is just laying in her bed watching tv and acting just blah. I am so worried about her and the rest of my family, this sucks!!!

How old is your daughter? Has she said she doesn't feel well? She might just be a bit tired if she was up in the night. My daugher did the same last week, woke in the night, threw up once, fine all next day. She wasn't her usual lively self though, just because she was tired. Try not to worry.

Haley is 4. She didn't even wake up when she got sick, Logan (my almost 6 yr. old) came up at 3:00 this am and woke us up to tell us her room smelled like throw up!! She has said all day that she feels fine, just that her foot hurts, haha.

I am also mad at my husband because he brought her some soup home from the restaurant he works in last night, and that's what she had for dinner before she got sick, then this afternoon, I was upstairs with the baby, and he fed her that for lunch!!! I am hoping she doesn't get sick at her grandma's (A. because we don't get along and I don't want to have to see her if I have to go pick Haley up; and B. Greg is at work and I would be dealing all alone!!)

Well, it wasn't the soup--she was okay last night. My mother in law said she just laid around all night and went to bed early. SHe got up and ate breakfast but was sluggish at church and didn't seem to be well, she sat on my lap till it was time for Sunday School, then didn't eat her snack, didn't want to go out to lunch w/our friends to her favorite restaurant. She said she was "yucky". Now Logan's stomach hurts!!! AGH!!!!!!!!!!!

Could they be "faking"? I mean, school is tomorrow and maybe they won't want to go or maybe they just want some extra loving time with family members.

They could also be fighting something or maybe their sinuses are draining into their tummies.

Maybe she is just feeling a little run down. She may be fighting something off, and will feel better tomorrow. I hope all goes well for you guys!!

i hope everyone gets to feeling better donna. sounds like might
be a very tiny bug. since she's so little, wouldn't a virus have
hit her harder than just sick one time and fatigue? lol, i'm
trying to help, but i'm no mommy

I don't know what it is, she's still not acting like she's feeling good, she's cranky and irritable and she didn't eat lunch, although she is now eating a lunchable for dinner, my husband is grilling out burgers, but she didn't want that. I would just love to go more than 2 months without one of my kids throwing up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It just isn't normal! My mom had 4 kids who didn't v* as much in their entire lives as my 2 girls have in these last 3 years!!!!! I swear, it is ridiculous. And mine wash their hands and all that stuff, they'revery germ conscious (Not germaphobes, they're healthy about it, I'm not a germaphobe, just an SVaphobe!) I am justso frustrated! I had kids knowing that they would throw up and that I would have to learn to deal with it, butwho wouldever think that their kids would puke this much? Most people's kids get sick once or twice a year, mine are literally sick every 2-3 months, it's totally going to push me over the edge.

And now I am freaking out a little more--I think I missed a bit of "it" that fell in the bathroom floor--there was a spot of brown "stuff" in the doorway, and I had to get Aidan out of there yesterday morning!!!! I didn't see the spot until today and it was in the pathway of where he crawled--he had to have gone through it, he probably tried to put some in his mouth, he puts everything in his mouth!!!So now I am convinced he is going to get sick, too. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will keep my fingers crossed that Aidan will not get sick. I am sure that everything will be fine. Just try to hang in there. I know it seems impossible, but you can handle this. Sorry you are going through all of this.

How old is Aidan now??? Is the photo you have posted recent? He's a cutie! You have adorable kids!!

Aidan is 7 mos. old now!

If this is a bug, it is a weird one, Haley has been eating all day today, for breakfast she ate cinnamon rolls, a string cheese and 2 bowls of cereal!! But, while she was eating her cereal, she had diarrhea, then she had it again!!!!!!!!! I don't know what the deal is!!

Oh Donna, hang in there!! I'm so sorry for you hun, you certainly get loads of exposure therapy don't you. You're such a good Mom and I think you're dealing with everything quite well. I think you need to always remind yourself that you've been thru this before and you've survived and you will again. I know it's easy for me to sit here and type that but it's true. I hope Aidan won't get sick and you'll be vomit-free in your house for quite some time! You've earned a vacation from it for sure.

You poor thing Donna! How are the kids today??? I think that what Haley is going through right now is some type of virus that is going around, just not sure what type of virus it is. My daughter is 5 and she started with d* on Friday night and my stomach wasn't feeling well either. She had d* most of the day on Saturday too, but never said her belly hurt. She was sluggish almost all weekend and then on Sunday night started with a fever and cold type symptoms. Yesterday she didn't each much at all and laid around - then seemed to be getting better lastnight. Today she went to school and seemed fine. We'll see as the day progresses I guess. It must be some type of mild virus. I haven't felt that good in the past few days and my husband was sick to his stomach with a little d* as well. Nothing major but of course I was freaking out!!

I hope things get better for you and your family soon! I know how you feel and inspite of your feelings you are doing a GREAT job as a mom!
