    Technically, I guess you can, but if we're ill I suppose we're less likely to venture out places, which must minimise the risk. Just keep your hands washed, and this will really cut down any risk.

    The chances could be higher because your immune system is a little lower because of another infection. Try to get some good liquids in your system and keep up with the washing of the hands. Edited by: ontariogirl

    You can. My kids' pediatrician told me that when you have another infection, your body has overproduced white blood cells to combat the infection and more than likely will gobble up the new one fast. Its like the cells are in proliferation overload. However, the condition of your immune system is paramount as to whether you will get sick on top of being sick.
