Ugh, there was a pile of v* outside school this morning. Then some kid stepped in it...I don't recognise this girl in my daughter's class, but she might be. She's going to be walking this v* through the classroom...when they all sit on the carpet for storytime...eew, I don't wantto think about it. Now all of you emet mums will know that a pile of v* outside school definitely means a sv, and my daughter will certainly pick it up off the bottom of a kid's shoe! Am I mad? Edited by: suze

    Hi Suze

I would feel the same way as you. eeewww! Did the girl have a way to walk before she reached the classroom and was she like running around in the playground b4 school started...? i'm just thinking this might have given time for the v* to wear of the bottom of the shoe.

Not far to walk, but she might have had a run around the playground as the doors weren't open when we arrived - which is unusual cos I'm usually late - LOL!

I'm just hoping that she's not in my daughter's class!

Question- what type of winter do you experience where you live? Here it's winter boot season- so the first thing the kids do when they get to the classroom is change shoes.

Come to think of it- until 7th grade, we always had to bring a pair of 'inside shoes' to school- no black soles. Where I grew up we had some pretty extreme weather- snow, rain, etc- and I guess they didn't want us tracking snow and mud everywhere (especially since a lot of the classrooms were carpeted). The only time you could really get away with not wearing your 'inside shoes' was at the beginning of the year and the very end of the year- when the ground was fairly dry. Any other time- you would go around in stocking feet

Either way- I wouldnt worry about the threat of your daughter catching anything. You dont know how long the vomit had been there (could have been the result of a drunkard the previous night), or if the person was 'contagious' sick or sick due to motionsickness, etc.

    Still gross though! EWW

Winter here is exactly like summer Amber - dull, relatively mild, often wet! It doesn't snow much so the kids just wear the same shoes inside and out. You're right though, it could have been a drunk from the previous night.

I know most of the kids in my daughter's class and I don't recognise her, so she may be in the year above. It was such a gross start to the day though, really puts you under a cloud.
