OK -- this is embarassing, but..............

Do you know why I would have terrible gas for 3 days straight?? I feel great, have an appetite, no D*, and am fine. The only thing is, persistent, terrible gas!! I know, not very ladylike and gross, but any ideas on how to relieve it, besides the obvious solution, which I'm getting tired of

I swear, if this keeps up, my damn butt is gonna vibrate right off my body!Edited by: californiagirl

Haha, been there done that, got the t-shirt.

Are you eating a lot of veggies and/or carbs? They tend to cause gas. Dominos Pizza always does it for me.

You can try Beano, it's supposed to work. I usually just let em rip. Also not very lady like

    Thanks for your reply 65Roses~~~

I've been letting them rip for 3 days, and I keep clearing the room, my feelings are getting hurt-haha

I will try beano, I just keep forgetting to buy some.

I LOVE broccoli, and ate some, so maybe that's what it is, but I've never had it for three days like this!! EEWWW

i would say its the brocolli for sure. i love brocolli too, but my mom didn't cook it very much at home. when i came to college they offered it in the cafeteria regularly, so i ate alot of it, and had the same experience. i think that's definitely it, it won't always cause it for you, just when you eat it more than usual like that!

Fruits and veggies do it...I have IBS so I am always a walking fart machine. The gas-x pills really help too, you may want to try those if it keeps up!!

Different kinds of cheese can give me aweful gas......I end up stinking myself out of the room......

I suggest staying away from dairy products for the next few days as that can add to your gas problem...especially cheese.

One more post here I too have had that problem many many times before....and i never can figure it out...but i have come to the conclusion....that maybe it's too much protein or carbs like someone else said....i also think i get so backed up sometimes...i have ibs really bad...so that comes with the territory....but i don't know.....of course brocolli/cabbage/fruit/beans/ or anything like that will do it.....i find that with ibs that's most of my problem......lord if you find an answer let me know........it's most embarrassing and believe me i live in a house with 2 sons and a husband who always competeing for the best farts in the house.

    Hi Mary,

Well, I still have it, just not as bad, and when I pee (sorry), I get a horrible pain in my lower left side. Weird!

Well, I went to the store today, and as my daughter and I would walk down the aisles, she'd get a whiff, and yell, "MOM !!!", and I started laughing so hard I had tears!! Just the look on her face was priceless! I did get some bean-o, so we'll see if it goes away..............

    Madisonsmom....

that pregnancy constipation is killer! I swear every time I actually went, it clogged the toilet!

After I had him, a couple days later, I 'went' and ended up calling my husband (now ex) in tears saying I just had another baby! Pregnancy really is a bummer....good thing you get something good outta it!! LOL!
