Hey there, post of that kind about stomach bugs that are going around go to the experience forum because it's less busy and also they can cause some panic so it means people can choose more freely what they read or not. You did nothing wrong at all. On the top right of the forum there is a choice "active topics" just click that and all new posts that have been made get shown, so you'll not miss your posts.
