My doctor told me yesterday that Benadryl is effective in calming n*
and v*. I didn't ask at what dosage, but I thought that was interesting.
He said that n* and v* from anything, from a panic attack to a sv can
be helped with benadryl. I don't know if it will take it away completely,
but if a dr. said it works then I guess it's worth a shot. He said it's not
as effective as something that's not OTC, but still pretty darn good.
Little known fact........if anyone tries it you'll have to let us know how it
    works!

That's true! Actually, dramamine, Unisom (doxylamine succinate) and some other anti-nausea drugs are antihistamines, just like benadryl. Thesecan beused not only as antihistamines, but as sleep-aids, and anti-nausea pills for pregnancy.

It does work! When I'm nauseous in the hospital they will usually give benedryl before they give anything else. And that's in the hospital, so they must have some faith in it.
