Actually, I just found out he was sick. I went over to my parents house because we had a showing at ours (trying to sell it) and I needed to take the dogs some place. When I got there, no one was home. I was playing around with the remote for a while, trying to get their T.V. to work. I noticed there was a bottle of Pepto Bismol on the table by my dad's chair. I went upstairs and used the phone on my mom's desk, then I called my dad from my cell phone to see how to make the T.V. work. While I was talking to him, he told me that he had been sick on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (it's now Friday). I asked with what and he said stomach flu. I asked if he v*d (he knows about my phobia) and he said no, just really bad "lower cramps." He told me he never really even felt like v*, just hurt. He was on his way home, but I really didn't want to be around him, so I left before he got there.

So I guess I have two questions: (1) Does this sound like a sv to you? He told me he heard it has been going around (I guess at work?) and (2) Do you think I could have caught it? I was never actually around him, just in his house. I didn't use the bathroom, eat or drink anything while I was there and of course I washed my hands as soon as I got home. I know he touched the remote I was playing with, but could germs still be alive on it this long after (he had been at work all day so it wasn't like I touched anything right after him).

That lysol commercial says germs last on objects for up to 48 hours. But since you washed your hands its all good! The sv is going around my job and i always make sure not to touch my face or eat without washing my hands first! they joke about how i always have hand sanitizer but we work with kids and the staff get things like sv.. last year all six got the sv but me. I am a big believer in keeping germ free then theirs nothing to worry about.

also pepto bismol isnt for throwing up...no medicine is. and they say not to take anti d* meds if you have a virus because you need to let all the virus out to get better. so i wouldnt worry.

hoped i relaxed some thoughts. good luck with selling the house!

jessica - thanks for the good wishes about us selling! Unfortunately it has been on the market for a year and a half now. I have pretty much lost all hope that it will. I don't think the people even showed up tonight.

I am really starting to worry about this. I knwo it;s stupid, I probably have a slim chance of getting it, but I can't help it. To top it off I have a monster headache which isn't helping.

I really wanted to be able to enjoy my 3 day weekend, not start the countdown!

I know that a lot of people say they have a stomach flu if they have any type of cramping. Know what I mean? If he is not V* or doesnt have D* I am sure you will be just fine!!!

I don't think he had d* but I didn't ask. I know he went to work with it Monday and Tuesday, so he couldn't have felt too bad, right? He came home from work Wednesday, he said, just to sleep it off. I wish I never went over there! If we have any showings this weekend I think I will just take the dogs to the park!

It could have been a gazzilion different things. It could have been a sv, but he didn't v* so who cares (that's just me though, gimme d* anyday over v*ing). He could have had bad food. He could have had some extra stress. Who knows! I would be ecstatic that there was no v*ing involved!! You washed and everything, I am sure you will be just fine!!!

Have a great weekend, and hope you sell your house!
