She turned 4 yesterday--so she's probably sick, my kids are always sick on their birthdays!! (As I keep saying). She hasn't eaten anything really today!! I am worried, though she is acting okay, she said her tummy doesn't hurt but that doesn't stop me from freaking!!!

Yeah, the excitement of birthdays, junk she wouldn't usually eat etc, that's probably all it is. With most sv, you would usually expect v* first then d*. If she's acting normally then it's probably nothing more - with a sv she would definitely be under the weather.

My daughter's 4 and has d* quite often. Easier said than done i know, but try and stay calm.

Thanks, it's been 45 min. or so & she hasn't done it again, my dad just came by with her present--a Doggie Day Care--her & Logan are playing, my dad brought them Kindereggs (chocolate) from Germany & she ate 1/2 & wanted to eat it all & I wouldn't let her!Edited by: donna1216

Maybe it is just one of those fluke things. Sometimes my kids have d* and it never turns out to be anything else. Keep us posted!!

Well, it was 2 hrs. ago, and she hasn't had any more d*, but she was just dancing w/ Logan and then she started to cough and then gagged and said that she almost threw up, I hope it was from phlegm and not her stomach!!!!!!

It will be the coughing, she just so wouldn't dance if she was ill! Scary though, eh? Relax if you can, she'll be fine!

Sounds like she is fine to me....if she has some sort of SV I think she
would have many more symptoms and would probably be
complaining about her stomach hurting...I would be worried too, but
it sounds like you are in the clear!

Thanks, she's fine, but Logan woke me up at 11:15 last night, shaking and feeling nauseous for the 2nd night in a row, she was up until after 2:30, which was when my husband got home and had to deal with her--I wonder why I can't stand to be at home alone with my children at night!!
