anyone else have these dreams?

sorry i double posted this in here and in the general discussion because I wasnt sure which one it should go under!!


Being an emetophobic since the age of 7 when I last hadan episode of v*, and a germophobic for about the last 10 or so years, (i'm now almost 20 years old), I've had these recurring dreams since then.


In them I'm always in a dirty bathroom not wanting to touch anything but really having to go to the washroom. The washrooms are huge and the floors are always soaking wet, the toilets are disgusting and overflowing..and the stalls are warped and some dont even have doors on them!! That's one of the recurring dreams..


Another that I have fairly frequently is that I v* for one reason or another, and it's not half as bad as I imagine it would be, and in my dream I'm always somewhat relieved. Does anyone else have dreams like these, or am I alone in them?

Hey there Tamzie, yes I also suffer from those dreams,Its only our fears coming out when we sleep, it something that we are going through with other people.


You arent the only one,it isnt easy to controll either,but we are here to help and let you talk it over.

I don't have the dreams about the dirty bathrooms but I do have dreams about V*ing quite often. Usually in the dream when I V* it's different cause it just feels like my mouth is full and I have spit it out. In the dreams V*ing doesn't seem so horrible, it seems like a natural occurence. I read somewhere that if you dream about V*ing then in your real life you may be in a situation that you just can't "Stomach" As they put it.

to violet, thanks so much, its strange for me to be on here, Ive never talked to anyone who knows how I feel so all my friends just kind of tell me I'm being stupid, but it's really good to hear from people who understand, and to know people are there!





and samara's on tv(the ring ismy favourite movie of all time by the way) yeah, well I'm overall pretty damn happy with my life! I think its my subconscious telling me that theres really not so much to be afraid of! Which deep down inside, I do know, but its so so hard to overcome.
