Being an emetophobic since the age of 7 when I last hadan episode of v*, and a germophobic for about the last 10 or so years, (i'm now almost 20 years old), I've had these recurring dreams since then.

In them I'm always in a dirty bathroom not wanting to touch anything but really having to go to the washroom. The washrooms are huge and the floors are always soaking wet, the toilets are disgusting and overflowing..and the stalls are warped and some dont even have doors on them!! That's one of the recurring dreams..

Another that I have fairly frequently is that I v* for one reason or another, and it's not half as bad as I imagine it would be, and in my dream I'm always somewhat relieved. Does anyone else have dreams like these, or am I alone in them?

    I have had a few v' dreams.

One of them was about my niece v'ing, and it actually made me resent her for a few weeks afterwards.

You're definitely not alone there Tamzie - I've had some bad v* dreams in the past!

My most horrible dream is very graphic, and terrifying. I have a huge fear of my parents getting sick, and this particular nightmare has themv*ing uncontrollably.Itake off, absolutely petrified, but whichever one of my parents it is who's v*ing comes after me,asking me what's wrong, and still v*ing all the time. I usually try to hide in cupboards and things, but to no avail: they always find me...it's like a whacked out version of The Terminator or something!

I'm sure all of our v* dreams are personalized in a way, because although we all fear the same thing, we fear it for different reasons and in different ways.

I hate that! I get those dreams alot about someone I know V*ing and then I either avoid said person or feel resentful towards them for a bit.

Just last night I had a TERRIBLE dream. One that made me angry at my husband when I woke up and thinking about it all day (shivers).

I used to worry my husband had a drinking problem because he drinks SO much at one sitting and usually always drinks to the point of being drunk. So last night I had this dream that he called me from a party so beligerent that he couldn't even talk properly. I yelled at him and told him to tell someone to get his butt home right now. He didn't end up coming home all night. Someone brought him home the next afternoon and he was still so drunk he fell asleep in the backseat of my car and V*d all over it. His dad had been there to clean it up, but when i got home I could still tell (I could even smell it in my dream, ugh). Then he stumbled out of my car and started V*ing before getting to the bathroom. It truly was a nightmare, and I was so upset when i woke up.

I have dreams about bathrooms like the one you decribed, but in my dream my concern is more of a privacy/uncomfortable issue than it is about v* or germs. Weird, I know. My v* dreams are horrible. I'm always in a HUGE crow of people trying to get away from other people who are v*ing. I'm running as fast as I can, but they are always right behind me, or in front of me. I wake up and my heart is racing, and I have to remind myself that it was only a dream.

I remember one dream specifically that I had involving my father. I was in some weird lighted street in Vegas trying to find my way to my family in a taxi cab. I finally arrived and found my friend, and she led me to my dad while telling me that my dad was in trouble. I get to my dad and there are people surrounding him in a group. He was on his hands and knees, and was caughing. Basically getting sick. And this long piece of dough looking stuff came out of his mouth and someone said that I had to throw up, or else my dad would die. And I was getting scared, and more scared, and stressed, it was all on me. And I thought to myself "I CAN'T do it...I just CAN'T!!" I woke up. I then thought to myself "wow, would I throw up if my dad were to die?" I kept thinking no way in heck, but deep down I would have lol sounds kinda petty dont'cha think? Ah well...
That dream was about 4 years ago.

I've had some pretty messed up dreams, and they're almost always about me being near someone with an SV never about being sick.

Last night though, I had a dream where a guy was being medivaced out of
the dorms. What was I thinking about the whole time? Catching what he
    had!

I was so happy when I woke up that a guy hadn't been taken out that I
didn't think about being sick for a good two hours. It's the small
    victories, I guess.
