Okay today I went to the doctor because my stomach has been TERRIBLE over the past week with nausea and what not. They took some blood (Yippee) and also a urine sample. The doctor said there was blood in my urine so she sent me down to radiology to get an MRI...I think that's what it was.

Anyway my question is this. How bad are kidney stones? I don't know if I have them yet, my doc will give me a call on the test results ASAP. Can you vomit from Kidney Stones? And I'm thinking "Geeze what if I have to PASS the damn thing?" Does that hurt? From what I've heard it hurts REALLY BAD. Does anyone know anything about kidney stones that they could tell me to make me feel better?

Nausea and pain can cause V* in some people and in other people, they are just plain miserable. I wouldn't say that V* happens in everyone. I know you can also V* with a kidney infection or with strep or a common cold (post nasal drip), yet not everyone does.

If you are having trouble with the nausea and pain, ask your doctor for some medicine for it. Your doctor should do whatever it takes to make you comfortable.
