Went to Anxiety Support Group

So I went to an Anxiety support group for the first time tonight w/ a friend. Anyways, I was talking about my anxiety.. and then some lady was talking about how someone had a wierd phobia of bees (this woman, I guess, was petrified). Anyways, I confessed that I was REALLY freaked out about v* and people v*ing.. and how I get PO-ed when people are sick near me.. blah blah blah... and how V*ing is the worst thing in the world...


and we went intoit a little bit.. and they all seemed to agree.. I mean.. they weren't emetophobic.. but v*ing and being s* to your stomach.. is really gross and a horrible feeling...


sometimes I think that we're not as alone as what we think we are... I think everyone hates it and fears it to some extent... perhaps not like us... but it's dreaded by most.

I have to agree with that one. My boyfriend is not an emet.....but what a baby! He is worse then me when he thinks he is going to be sick. He paced for an hour before hand "trying to control it by breathing heavy". But he does not fear it, and it does not disrupt his life. He says he just doesn't like it...and if he can stop it, he will. So I think a lot of people have a slight fear. Carrie
