Considerate dental office

Hi, Guys!

I had an appointment scheduled today for a cavity to be filled at my dentist's office. I received a call from the receptionist this morning saying they were going to have to reschedule my appointment because the "intestinal flu" had been rampant in their office staff and they were shorthanded. Boy, was I thankful they called!!! I told her to please not reschedule me until that stuff was over. Now, my appointment isn't until February. I have just been so thankful all morning that I didn't go.

I have had clinics call because the doc got sick or because the office was closed temporarily due to illnesses --- meaning they only took emergency cases.

I have a different take on this. They did not call to keep you well. They called because they were shorthanded. It just happened to turn out well for you because you are an emet. I bet some of the people they called were not happy and did not care what what was going around. They were inconvenienced.

I too agree with stella on this one, its sad but i imagine they only called because they were short staffed, not because they didnt want to spread it further
