Did anyone watch Intervention last night? It was about a bulimic girl. They showed EVERYTHING!!! I tired to watch it for exposure therapy, but I just couldn't. It was too graphic.

Bulimia doesn't bother me at all because I know EXACTLY why the person is getting sick. Bulimia is self-induced and is done for an exact purpose - it is something that is planned and controlled (well, most of the time). I am also not bothered as much by people who are drunk for the exact same reason - I know why they are sick.

I saw part of it Kellybean. Unfortunately it was the part when she was forcing herself in the garage. I usually don't mind mind those scenes in movies or on tv but that was the most graphic I have seen. I actually closed my eyes and ears while she was doing it but peeked just in time to see her bag FULL. Even my husband was grossed out. I think ANYONE would have been.

I saw it as well. I am usually able to watch that kind of stuff, although a bit
hesitant... however I had to look away last night. It was pretty unbelievable
    graphic.

I tried to watch it but had to run out of the room with eyes and ears covered each time I thought "it" was about to happen. I did hear part of it but it was pretty bad. I cannot watch even fake scenes in movies, let alone the real thing. Watch with caution!!

LoL I got that quote from a show that I can't remember the name of...but it was some show about lifeguards or something on FX.

Anyway, no I did not see this show. But Vomiting on TV doesn't really bother me. Once or twice on Jackass I saw one of the dudes swallow a live goldfish and then barf it up again, it was nasty but nothing I couldn't handle.

I have a hard time with Jackass because its usually Steve-O that is V* and he
makes that most awful, wretched noises....

Its really the noises that bother me.

I watched the show. I was wondering what she was doing with the toothbrush? When she said why she has it kind of freaked me out. Instead of walking away or changing the channel I watched it. It was gross and it did bother me a bit, i think I felt more sorry for her and other people out there who have this disease. It will take awhile for me to get that ziploc baggie out of my mind.

Yes, that ziplock bag. That was the fragment of the part that I saw. The bag was FULL. I didn't watch anymore of it.
