Just wanting to make sure. I have read some folk's experiences and they sound pretty badcompared to mineBut i'd like to make sure as no-one has ever told me for sure adn I know no-one else with emetophobia.

Erm...I will post a few of my "symptoms".
    1.
I have always been terrified of being sick myselfand others being sick.

If there wasa bug going around I get so anxious about it and incase I get it myself.

I will go to drastic measures to stay away from anyone who is sick (eg - climbing out the window and in the front door to avoid going down the hallway to the livingroom cos someone was sick there)

I will not talk to a person who has been sick in the last24 hours (at least!),breath on the same room as they were sick in,sometimes even touch something they have touchedcos I am scared of catching some sick bug of them!

If someone in my family has been sick, i'dworry about going out of the house (eg - to school)incase I am sick there (in public).

I worry about the feeling of being sick, the idea of being sick freaks me out, any mention of people being sick.

The word "vomit" makes me want to boke.

Its all worse if its someone in my family who is sick or feeling sick. Or someone that I am staying with.

Writing this post akes me feel sicker.

So. Please people, tell me - am I emetophobic? Maybe just mildly?

Well, if I'm honest, then yes, you definitely sound emetophobic. Welcome to the club!! Nothing to be ashamed of, at least you can put a name to it now! You'll find that everyone here as one of your symptoms at least, lots of us will have all of them! Remember though, this is nothing to be ashamed of, you're a normal person with a very common phobia. Spend time looking through the other posts here and you'll see we're a normal bunch with one thing in common, that's all.

Oh, and welcome, you'll find people here who really understand, and believe me, that is a huge help.

Boke?! Haha are you from Scotland? Because I've only ever heard that word since I moved here, but maybe I'm just crazy yeah? Emetophobic Emet = vomit phobic = fear. If you have a fear of V* in any way then I would say yeah you have emetophbia.
