    Hi Khhrysta

Poor you! Unfortunately it is that bad time of year when horrible viruses are everywhere. My young neice has just had a nasty one and I have been worrying since that my 2 children will catch it. To make things worse my daughter starts back at school tomorrow so even more worry.

The chances are your son will not catch it so try not to worry. Good luck!

Thanks curly wurly for replying, v is my biggest fear of all I can remember the days the months and the times of when I v and what I ate @ that time, it scares me because my son goes back to school friday and he got the v virus last year and then I got it. I really don't know what do about this Iam hoping someday that the fear will go away and my kids won't get the phobia, I also have a 1 year old daughter that has to go through the v virues through the years and thats makes me even more scared, v is always on my mind I take anti v pills at night so I can sleep and not think about v all the time. Iam scared to death of running out of the pills I only have a few left with no refils Iam not sure if my Dr will understand enough to give me more, how do I live without the pills and beable to get on with life Iam feeling like Iam adicted to the pills, please any more advice would be great.

    Thanks, Khrysta

Unfortunately it is a bad time of year for these things. I HATE this time of year. Just keep your hands washed good. There is always a chance that your son will not get it. I know its hard to think positive. I have a hard time with it. I try to keep my mind off of it.

Do you see someone for your phobia?

    Hi
I'm new here and this is my first time posting. I am a teacher and I work
with autistic kids who are non-verbal so they can't really say when they
don't feel well or are going to v**. I have been teaching for three years
and have only had 3 kids v** during this time one being last Friday which
has set me into a panic because I am terrified to catch a sv and anytime I
hear of anyone v** that I have been near I stop eating most solid foods
for a week or so until I feel that I am in the clear and am not going to
catch a sv.(I'll only eat plain pasta, chicken noodle soup, jello, apple
sauce, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and saltine crackers). Anyway I
thought that I was ok until I got to work today and a co-worker who
helped the kid that v** on Friday called out sick saying that she came
sown with the sv on Sunday night and has never been that sick in her life.
Now I am so scared that I am going to come down with the sv. I wear anti
nausea bracelets on my wrists at night when I go to sleep because I fear
that I am going to wake up in the middle of the night and feel nauseous.
I also keep a trash can near my bed because I am afraid I won't make it to
the toilet if I do wake up sick. My husband thinks I am crazy. And when
he gets sick I make him sleep in the other room and use the other
bathroom. Anyway sorry to ramble on but I am hoing this site will help
me to see that my fear is not unusual> I don't think I need therapy, as I
am not afraid to go out or be around people I am just afraid of vomiting
and of hearing and seeing others vomit. One more thing, I am trying to
get pregnant and my biggest fear is morning sickness. Anybody have any
sugestions for preventing or lessining the symptoms?
