I've only known for about a year that my fear had a name and since then I've visited several websites about it and lurked around looking at the posts, I was reluctant to join any because I thought it would be like saying that I couldn't handle it but all of you seem so supportive I couldn't help it.
My question is this, is it still Emetophobia if you're only scared of other people being sick and don't mind so much if it happens to you? I know there have been a few times where I've been with someone who felt ill and wished that it was me instead of them so I wouldn't see anything. Is this "normal" for this phobia?

Just out of curiosity, what other websites are there that you have
found because I haven't found any except for one with very little
    content.

    Zanana,

I am one of those people! I would rather die than be near someone who is sick! I'm not exactly thrilled when it happens to me, but I think in the end I could handle it.

I'm with teacher and Zanana- I would much rather myself be sick than anyone in my immediate proximity- and whether it's caused by food poisoning, a virus, or alcohol- vomit is vomit.

Funny, I'm not happy when someone else is sick, but I could handle it
forever if I could have a guarantee that it wouldn't happen to me.

Well it's good to keep things different -- variety is the spice of life!
