    Ihavent been out for a while at the weekends because ive felt "ill" because of worrying that i am. i missed out this weekend just gone because i had the butterflys in my stomache. but this weekend i really REALLY want to go out. do you think i should just go for it. If i have the butterflys maybe i should just re assure myself that i dont feel ill. mehh advice welcome.!

    I definitely think you should go out. Maybe make arrangements so that if you needto leave early you can. I always feel better knowing I have an "out" if I need it. I ALWAYS take my own car when i go out with friends so i don't get stuck somewhere.

    yeah thats a good idea. usually once i start drinking im fine. makes all the anxiety go. ill just have to push myself. the always having an "out" is a good idea.. ill have to arrange something. thanks

    i agree, you should go out, i used to do the same thing, get excited
    about going out and convince myself that the butterflies were a sign
    of iminent illness, dont deny yourself some fun, you can always go
    home if you feel uncomfortable , in my experience the thought of
    doing it is far worse than the actual experience, getting out the
    house is the hardest part once your out its all good, hope you have

    yeah, I am the same way, I really have to force myself to go out, but after that first drink i have no worries
