Hi Nanie I think we can all sympathise with how you feel. I often think the same way as you that if i dont eat then nothing will come up, but if i dont eat i will lose a lot of weight as im already under weight so i just tell myself i have to eat to be stronger to fight off any sv's. If you eat well and get a lot of sleep your body will be better at fighting off any bugs. Have you tried getting help from a professional?

yeh i agree with kylie. i was checking out some webbies last night on strengthening the immune system and theres so much you can do to help that'll make you feel better as well as helping you to combat viruses. theres certain pills you can take that will boost your immune system! i dound this web page helpful http://www.organicnutrition.co.uk/articles/immune.htm

there are many others like that. if your search on google for "immune system" you'll find a whole lot out about it and how to combat disease. don't stop eating tho, youre more likely to get ill if you don't eat. i'm currently not eating very well and my stomach really hurts. regular excercise helps as blood circulation purges the body of bacteria. wash your hands, eat healthily: breakfast lunch and tea and you'll feel a whole lot better than you ever have. go and see a doctor to get advice or a meal plan.

    hope i've helped

I can sympathise wholeheartedly as I often don't eat, especially at this time of year. I obviously end up feeling weak and faint which isn't great. I find that having a bigger meal at lunchtime and then something small in the evenings helps, as my fear gets worse the later it is and sleeping on a full stomach makes me panic.

    There's something I don't understand I don't mean to be disrespectful
as I understand the theory that if you eat less that you might v* less
if you get sick. Not really sure if that's true or not.

    BUT...

I think it would be wiser to focus on prevention rather than focus on
the expectation and worry that illness could happen. And part of
prevention means keeping your body healthy and your immune system
strong. That includes eating properly and getting enough sleep. I've
also found that I can combat anxiety and worry by simply keeping busy
and staying on a regular daily routine.

So to sum it up, as an experienced e-phobe, I think you all that aren't
eating right should start eating right because it could mean the
difference of getting sick and not getting sick. All the vitamins in
the world aren't going to replace 3 squares a day. If they did, then
everybody would just pop pills and never eat.

I got a bug once and hadn't eaten much. It blew my theory that if I didn't eat
I wouldn't v*. I hate it that it blew my theory, but it did. I just dry you-
    know-what.

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade. But now if I'm hungry I eat, and if
my stomach feels off, I don't.

Not eating just isn't healthy and we want to stay healthy.
