and she bought some gravol and ginger ale, then she told my supervisor
(who was right next to me cause i'm still training) that she thinks she
has a flu, they had a quick chat, then I quickly put the cash away and
went to wash my hands with antibacterial soap and hot water.

i feel a bit hot right now, and every now and then i get some tiny
spurts of nausea. i'm taking some cold-rx, do you think there's much of
    a chance?

I think you're fine. You touched the cash and washed your hands and the
encounter was brief. Besides, maybe she's an emet, seriously.

At any rate, I really think it would take more prolonged exposure and no
hand washing, plus she may not even have been ill. Let us know how you
    are!

I agree with sienna, I think you'll be just fine. What you're feeling is probably just anxiety over it - there's no need to worry! I try not to think about money when I handle it, otherwise I'd never want to touch the stuff again! You washed your hands and everything, so you've taken extra precaution. I don't see any way you could get ill

I think you will be fine. You washed your hands. Plus like the others said we don't even know if she is sick or not, or if it was food poisioning or what. Just stay cautious, and breath, You will be fine. How are you doing now?

I am sure you will be fine, but I know how the nerves get the best of us. Think about it this way...we come into contact with so many people and we have no idea what they have, so at least you know that shemay have something and you took measures to keep yourself germ free. You will be o.k. Why so people think it is o.k. to go out when they may be sick and make others worry? If I felt that way, and maybe it's cause i'm an EMET, I would never go out and make others miserable with worry or make myself be sick out and about.

People are weird, and not very condsiderate. Try and relax and just know that you did wash quickly and got away and you will be fine. Keep us posted
