I don't know if it is pregnancy related or not. I have been constipated off an on lately so it may just be that working it's way through. I have been to the bathroom 5 or 6 times now, my stomach keeps cramping. It's loose, but not d* and not very much at a time (sorry if this is TMI). I also feel really n* though. And it hits me in waves. Sometimes I feel perfectly fine, and then other times I really feel like I'm going to v*. I really haven't had any morning sickness, so it is hard for me to know if that is what is causing it. I think I am around 8 1/2 weeks now (although the doctor put me at exactly 8 weeks today). I would have thought it would have kicked in by now if it were going to, but I suppose I could be a lucky one that gets it a little later.I really don't know what is wrong with me. I ate breakfastabout 5 hours ago and haven't really had anything since. I was starving (that's how it seems to hit menow - I'm not at all hungry then all of a sudden I am so hungry I am n*) so I ate a muffin. It seemed to help the hunger pains a little, and didn't really make anything worse.

Now I just don't know. I don't feel like eating, but every now and then I get a twinge and wonder if maybe it is hunger. Then the n* sets in and I have no desire to eat. I went out at lunch with a co-worker to run some errands. She wanted to stop at Wendy'sfor some food, and it did smell good to me, but I just couldn't bring myself to eat anything.

I kind of wonder if maybe it is a sv, but wouldn't it be more obvious by now? I have felt bad off and on for about 5 hours now. I feel so terrible!

I don't know if this will help any, but I will try. For awhile, my emet was so horrible that I was afraid to eat. I was down to 108 lbs. My normal weight is 135, which I am back tonow.

Anyway, what I learned during that time thatI was so terrified to eat is that wondering whether I had n* or not didn't help any. I realized that if I was going to be sick, I would be whether I ate or not. And the fact was, NOT eating was making me feel more sick. I have never been pregnant, so I personally don't know what morning sickness feels like, but I know both my sister and mom would eat a few crackers when they had morning sickness, and that would always make them feel better.

I know how hard it is to make yourself eat when you think you feel sick. Believe me, I do. When I was scared to eat, I would cry every time I took a bite of food, so afraid that something bad would happen. But I forced myself anyway, and now I am doing so much better, and the fear of eating has pretty much gone away.

If I could do it, you can. Try to remember that if you are going to v*, it's much better to do it with food in you.

    Hope I have helped some!

    I must face my fear.
I will allow it to pass over and through me.
When it has gone past I will turn my inner eye to see it\'s path.

Are you overly tired? I know when I don't get good sleep for a few nights in a row, I feel all out of sorts. Are you feeling any better?

When my friend was early in her first trimester, she had to eat a little bit every 2 hours or she would get sick, so if it's been 5 hours since you last ate then the nausea is probably because of that. Try to eat a few saltines and see if it helps. Try to eat a small healthy snack every few hours even if you aren't hungry. I hear this keeps morning sickness at bay.

Sillygirl, sounds like classic morning sickness to me. That's exactly how I feel when I get it. Just keep trying to eat anything you can. I totally relate to thinking a food sounds good and then just not being able to even eat a bite. I've kind of felt that way the past couple of days after feeling really good for a week. Of course, I have been stressed with my daughter being sick last week so that probably has something to do with it. My lower intestines have not been the same since getting pregnant and taking those vitamins. They definitely slow everything down and make you crampy. I even woke up with horrible cramps in the middle of the night and then was fortunate to go to the bathroom like three times that next day and all seemed right with the world again. I would not worry about a SV. Those vitamins give you super immunity (okay, maybe not, but that's what I tell myself!) and I've been exposed tomy daughter'spotential SV and strep last week and have made it through without any illnesses. The fact that you could eat the muffin and feel okay tells me it's definitely MS. Stick with the muffins if they are agreeing with you and eat them all day if you want. Feel better soon!

I am a little tired, but actually not as tired as I have been. It does seem to be worse when I am more tired, but I don't really think that's the problem today.

I still pretty much feel the same - no better, no worse. I will be fine for a while, workign along like usual and then all of a sudden it will hit me. First, I feel like I have to go to the bathroom really bad, so I go and nothing really wants to come. Just a little bit, but it isn't total d*. I'm really starting to think my constipation is back, although I didn't feel this bad last time.

I ahven't eaten lunch yet, but I did have a berry smoothie. I drank the whole thing. Again, I don't think it helped, but I don't think it really hurt either. I am feeling a little more like "hunger" now so I am hoping I will be able to eat soon. I have to leave work in an hour to get my aunt from the airport about an hour away. The weather is horrible - so cold and so windy. We have had over 90 mile an hour wind gusts. The wind chill is below 0. BRRR!!!!

I think you are having some m/s!! It can hit at any time...not everone starts at 6 weeks and ends at 12 weeks. Try to keep the water up, that should help a little with the constipation, and try to keep a little food in your tummy. Eat every two hours, even if it is just a berry smootie...keep your blood sugars up!

Almost over the "hump" of that first trimester!

how are you feeling now silly girl? it does sound like m.s. and i agree
with jewell. you should eat every couple hours to keep yourself from
getting hnugry. hunger causes ms. thats why they call it morning
sickness because morning is the time where there is no food in your
belly, so they say to keep some crackers by your bed, and to eat them
    before you even sit up.
One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching.

My morning sickness was worse in the late afternoon and evening. It really is not a morning only thing. When you haven't gone enough in your tummy, you will get drops in blood sugar, blood pressure and just feel a little yuck, so try and eat a few crackers every few hours. I know it sounds hard when you feel awful , but it will help. I will say this, you are 2 months a long and if you were going to V* you probably would have by now. Those hormones kick up many notches at the beginning and that sends you into that N* feeling, so I think you will be fine.

Try and focus on something else and I know it is hard, but really it is best for you and the baby. too much stress isn' t good for either of you.

One thing that really worked for me, when m/s was at it's worst was bananas! I had all day sickness, but it was the worst in the morning (I only ever v*ed in the mornings), and found bananas to be my best friend that first 16 weeks! Try keeping one with you all the time, and by the bed!!

You have classic morning/pregnancy sickness. I have been behind that green face. You've got about four to five more weeks before you begin to feel normal again. Get lots of rest, drink plenty of water and keep something on your stomach. With pregnancy, an empty stomach WILL make you feel worse. IT does not have to be anything heavy.
