Nervous about this weekend

Hi, everyone! I haven't been around much lately due to strict rules with internet usage at work [img]smileys/smilies_06.gif[/img]

Mine and hubby's 3 year anniversary is on 12/6 and we are going away this weekend for a romantic getaway. I'm so excited, but of course the emet puts a damper on my mood. We have a busy weekend planned and I am so worried about getting sick. I have been in several doctor's offices this week and I just hope I haven't picked up a sv germ while there. Of course, I've been very diligent about handwashing and Purell.

I can't stand having emet at times like this! I just want to go and have a good time without worrying about *v*!

Well, you've been good thus far... it'd be good not to think about it and jinx yourself! I hope your aniversary is awesome... Where are you guys going, if you don't mind me asking?


Bring an anti-emetic or some dramamine... as a safeguard... I'm sure as long as you feel prepared you'll be fine... lol... it's kind of like when you're sick -- or something's really hurting you, and you go to the doctors, and miraculously that day you're suddenly better!


Bringing an anti-emetic many times is like the day you go to the doctors... so be prepared and have a blast!!!

Tayda--thanks for responding--apparently you're the only one that cares if I am nervous.

We are spending the weekend in the mountains of Tennessee. And, don't worry I ALWAYS carry Phenergan with me on any trip that I go on. It makes me feel better just to have it there.

Havea great time! Being so diligent about handwashing and Purell, you won't just "catch" the sv at a dr's office. Luckily for us emets, it (the sv) is not airborne!
